How to Enter

1) be original (not previously published in any medium, and not having won prizes or awards in any other contest)

2) be submitted online at www.4rsmokehouse.com/recipecontest/

3) be received by contest deadline

4) use 4R Smokehouse Barbeque Sauce and/ or 4R Smokehouse Hot Sauce

All recipes become the property of 4R Ventures and will not be returned, please read disclaimer agreement for terms. The contest will be judged by 4 Rivers Smokehouse owner and Pit Master John Rivers along with smokehouse experts, on the basis of taste, appearance, imagination, practicality and appropriateness for the restaurant. 4R Ventures resumes the right to award the winning recipe on the sole basis of the discretion of the judges.

Decisions of judges are final in all matters relating exclusively to this contest.

The deadline for submissions is 12:00 a.m. EST on August 10th.

Winners Notification

The King or The Queen of The Grill will be announced on 4 Rivers Smokehouse Facebook Page (http://facebook.com/4RSmokehouse) and 4 Rivers Smokehouse Twitter Page (http://twitter.com/4RSmokehouse)

Prizes

A first place winner (a “King” or a “Queen”) will receive a $100 4 Rivers Smokehouse gift certificate, a case of 4R Smokehouse Barbeque Sauce and the honor of having his or her recipe as a “special menu item” for a month. A charity of the winner’s choice will receive a portion of the sales of his or her menu item.

Three runners-up will each be awarded a $25 4 Rivers Smokehouse gift certificate and two bottles of 4R Smokehouse Barbeque Sauce.

All prizes claimed will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable; no substitutions or cash redemptions. Winners must redeem their prizes within 2 weeks (14 days) after notification of winning or winnings will be forfeited.

Disclaimer and Agreement

By participating in the 4 Rivers Smokehouse Recipe Contest, each eligible participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the conditions stated in this agreement and the decisions of the Sponsor (4 Rivers Smokehouse), which are final and binding and warrants that he/she is eligible to participate in this Recipe Contest; and agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees and agents of every kind, (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize(s)(including any injury or harm resulting from the use of a prize) or participation in this Recipe Contest.

Sponsor reserves the right to edit the winning recipe for purposes of consistency throughout Sponsor’s recipe program.

Prize is non-transferrable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Recipes submitted will become the property of 4R Ventures and can be used in any way the Sponsor sees appropriate without permission of the participant.

Additional Conditions

All prizes must be awarded to entrant, whom must sign a disclaimer upon submission. The sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for computer malfunction or error. All prizes will be awarded and are nontransferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions are permitted. In the case of a tie, duplicate prizes will be awarded.

Eligibility

Each entrant agrees that 4 Rivers Smokehouse, its affiliates and respective agents, are not responsible or liable for any representation or guarantee, implied or expressed, beyond that which is set forth herein. Each recipe submission must be original, not won any other recipe contests and not previously published in any medium.
